belt. Sort them as you catch them!

Dick and Dom 2D Shapes: Potion Bottle Quest
You get to use your knowledge of 2D shapes to
complete this challenge. Parts of the challenge are difficult, though.
You will need to know what these words mean to complete part of the
challenge: proportion, similar, and perimeter. Hint: Trapezium =
trapezoid.

Mission: 3D Shapes
Sort and identify 3D shapes and Nets to take
the bio rods from the bad guys. Don’t you think those shade robots look
like they have dreadlocks?

exactly how kaleidoscopes work. If you click the character picture in
the middle at the bottom, it changes what character is in the
kaleidoscope. Have fun!

Inez needs to complete a number of chores. You need to find the shortest
route that will complete all of the tasks. It isn't as easy as it
seems...

Use dot paper to make the perimeters of shapes
of spaceships. After you have designed the shape, Dr. Marbles will
build it and reveal how many seats your ship has (area). Good luck and

This game resembles a traditional jigsaw puzzle
except for one difference: Some of the pieces have been scaled up or
down and the player is challenged to resize the pieces in order to
complete the puzzle.

Tangrams
In this activity, you get to choose to place Tangram puzzle pieces to
create up to 13 pictures. You can choose to place the pieces to
recreate the shape with or without an outline of the shape.

Point of View
In this game, each member of the Cybersquad is
looking at a bunch of blocks from a different place. You have to show
what each person sees from their point of view.

Where's Digit?
Digit is lost in the Northern Frontier! Use the power of circles to
locate him. A different member of the Cyberchase crew will call in and
tell you how far away Digit is. Drag your circle out that many miles.
When three circles meet, the place where they meet is where you'll find
Digit.
Incidentally, this procedure is very
similar to the way the epicenter of an earthquake is determined.
Scientists can tell by the size of seismic waves how far a city is from
an epicenter, and they draw a circle around that town so that every
point on the circle is that far from the town. Where all circles meet is
the epicenter of the earthquake. Cool, huh?

Graphs and Data

Dick and Dom Frequency Tables and Graphs
Help Dick and Don make an antedote for the plague by making graphs!

the hammer tool to break up coins (example: if you hit a quarter, it
turns into 2 dimes and a nickel). Use the lasso to make a bunch of coins
turn into less coins of the same amount (example: if you draw a lasso
around 5 dimes, it will turn into two quarters). Play around with this
program to get a better understanding of coins.
Click the "Start the Activity" button to start.

Cash Out Making Change to $1.00
When the game loads, choose "easy" for

Negative Numbers

Mission: Negative Numbers
Miss Schofield really enjoyed this one too! Here are
some hints: On the key card game, notice that not all of the numbers are
negative. On the grid game, notice that at the top sometimes it asks for
the highest number and sometimes it asks for the lowest number.

This one is part online comic, part secret code! Help
save the citizens of Velussa by cracking Digit's secretly coded message.

Percent

Park Planning Percentages
This is a great website for exploring percentages. You
are helping the manager of the park plan where to put the flower beds,
grass, water, playground, and trees in the park. Even though you are
putting them where you want them, she tells you how much of each you can
use. Good luck and have fun!

percentages.

Mission Magnetite
Help the Cyberchase crew stop Hacker from filling up
his rocket! Empty the fuel in in rocket by cracking the code. You must
match a percent to a fraction and its picture. It gets harder each time!
Sometimes you will have to find an equivalent fraction! You can do it!

Place Value

Super Simple Place Value Increasing & Decreasing
Ok, I know. This website is not especially colorful,
and there are no paintballs or penguins. However, if you explore this
one, realize that every time you hit an "add" button you are
increasing, and every time you hit the "subtract" button, you are
decreasing. Maybe this will help some of you. Plus, it is just fun
to keep hitting buttons.

Bamzooki Place Value
Help the zooks ship the right numbers!

The Number System
Use the place value blocks to make the numbers in the
clues at the top.

Place Value Game Through 1000's
On this site, there are several place value problems.
Here is a game to help you practice place value through the thousand's
place. You get to watch cartoon Professor Duck Von Fly play golf after
each problem you get right (sometimes he accidentally hits his cousin!).

Place Value Game Through 100,000's
On this site, there are several place value problems
to help you practice with place value through the 100,000's place. You
get to play a target practice game for every problem you get right. :)
Be careful! You must use commas in their appropriate places!!!

Penguins on Ice: Place Value
Select Level 2 to try place value for 100's, 10's, and
1's. This game isn't as difficult as going through the millions like we
do in class, but it can still help...and it's fun! You gotta love
penguins...

Probability

Probability Ball Machine
Determine which colors are most and least likely to be
picked. Then, click this machine to pick a ball at random, and see if
what you expected to happen actually happens!

Disguise Combos
Help the Cybersquad find as many disguises as they can
so that they can fool Hacker! You know and I know that you can multiply
to find the combinations, but it is fun to make all of the disguises,
too.

Bamzooki Probability
This game requires you to give probabilities in
percentages and decimal numbers. Determine which Bamzookis are most
likely to win the race! You may even get to race!

Problem Solving & Puzzles

Crossing the River
Help the Cyberchase crew cross the river in the least
moves. There has to be someone in the boat at all times to operate it,
but only a certain number of people can fit at a time. If you figure out
the first problem, try the second one! Good luck!

Point of View
In this game, each member of the Cybersquad is looking
at a bunch of blocks from a different place. You have to show what each
person sees from their point of view.

Proportion

Sleuths on the Loose
Use the feet of baby creatures to figure out how tall
the momma creatures are!
FYI: You are proportional, too! The length of your
foot is the same length of your forearm. You are also as tall as the
span of both your arms. Hold your arms up and out (as if you are
pretending to be a t, and your arms are the part that cross the t), and
ask someone to measure from one fingertip to the other. It should be the
same length as how tall you are. Cool, huh?

Dirt Bike Race Proportions Multiplayer Game
This game is fun because you play against real people!
When you first get to the game, you will see a white box. If there is
already a game open, you can join. If not, you can click the “Create
Game” button in the top right corner. I suggest you make the game public
so more players can join. Who knows, someone from our class may play
against you! If no one joins after you create a game, the computer will
play against you!
Before you play, click your dirt bike to change its
color. Then click “Start Race.” Click on the number of the right answer
to each problem. Whoever crosses the finish line first wins!

Rounding Numbers

Rounding Basketball
Enter your name before you play (you can even make one
up if you want). Click "1 Pointer" or "2 Pointer" to round numbers. [3
pointers are too hard for us right now. We will learn more about
decimals later.] You have 90 seconds to make as many shots as possible!
Good luck!

Time

Mission: Time
Use your knowledge of digital and analog (regular)
clocks and elapsed time to knock some droids into the sea!

Time and Elapsed Time on Clocks
All three of these levels are good practice for your
test, and they are fun!
